Kufamosha Information Disability Centre is governed by a Management Committee consisting of seven (7) members elected at the Annual General Meeting.
The Management Committee is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, governance, and day-to-day operations of the organization.
Management Committee
The Management Committee provides leadership and oversight to ensure that the organization remains focused on its mission, objectives, and responsibilities to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing organizational leadership.
- Overseeing administration and daily operations.
- Guiding the implementation of programs and initiatives.
- Supporting financial and organizational accountability.
- Developing strategic priorities.
- Representing the interests of the organization and its members.
- Ensuring that activities remain aligned with the organization’s objectives.
Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the highest decision-making forum of the organization.
The AGM brings together members to review the organization’s achievements, activities, progress, and financial performance.
Key Functions of the AGM
- Reviewing and approving annual financial reports.
- Receiving updates on organizational programs and activities.
- Discussing strategic priorities and future plans.
- Reviewing organizational performance.
- Electing members of the Management Committee.
- Providing members with an opportunity to participate in organizational decision-making.
